New Student Registration

Welcome to Akimel A-al Middle School. At the time of registration, you must provide: your child’s birth certificate, immunization record and a copy of a utility bill (i.e. electric) or copy of purchase/lease agreement as proof of residence. We are unable to accept a phone or cable bill as proof of residence. Registration paperwork must be completed by the parent or legal guardian. Please be aware that these documents must be provided by the parent/legal guardian at the time of registration. We are unable to request copies from your child's previous school. If your child has special education records (gifted placement, and IEP OR 504), please provide a copy of those records at time of registration. This will help us best meet your child's educational needs.

If you live outside Kyrene boundaries, or live within the district boundaries, but outside of the AMS attendance area, you must apply for open enrollment. Information regarding registration and open enrollment can be found at www.kyrene.org
